1. Clarify if the existing trellis and columns that are in the way of the new walk-in cooler will be demolished as part of this permit. If so, include it on the drawings.
2. The masonry enclosure detail on sheet A5 indicates the footing for the new wall (where the existing trellis is located) however there is no plan nor any information if the existing sidewalk/ slab area is sufficient to hold the new walk-in coolers. Provide a foundation/concrete slab plan for the work.
3. Provide construction details for the new walls and door frames to be installed in the existing office/ dry storage area.
4. Provide dimensions for the new walls and doors for the office/ dry storage room. Show the distance between the new shelving as well as the required door clearances for accessibility for the new doors.
5. Indicate the required accessible door clearance of 12” on the latch side for the existing door to the exterior yard that is being replaced. ICC A117.1 -2009 Figure 404.2.3.2.
6. Provide a door and hardware schedule for the new barn door, office/ dry storage and the replaced door to the exterior yard.
7. Include the lighting in the office/ dry storage area and any changes to the existing ceiling on the partial ceiling plan sheet A6. Clarify if there was an existing exhaust fan in the restroom that will need to be removed as well. Coordinate with the MEP drawings.
8. Provide details for the new built-in desk that is in compliance with ICC A117.1 -2009. Include the height and method of attachment to the existing wall.
9. Indicate on the drawings that fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with 2018 IFC section 906.2.
