The design CFM/ft. provided is incorrect. The design CFM/ft. provided is listed as 240 CFM/ft. and the prescriptive design CFM/ft. is listed as 400 CFM/ft. Provide clarification for the discrepancy or provide a properly designed Type I hood in accordance with 2018 IMC Section 507.5.2. 2. Sheet M1.0: Provide a section detail through the grease duct and exhaust fan that clearly indicates the mounting methods, penetrations, access, etc. 2018 IMC Section 507.2.4. 3. Sheet M1.0: Provide the chosen duct wrap manufacturer specifications along with the desired listed assembly that is being used and include them in to the construction documents. 4. Sheet M1.0 Note 7: Note 7 indicates that the exhaust duct material will be welded 16 gauge black iron. This is not an approved material. Provide a correct grease duct material in accordance with 2018 IMC Section 506.3.1.1. 5. General: The construction documents do not provide the type and clearance separation from the combustible construction, such as smooth, cleanable, nonabsorbent and noncombustible material. Please provide documentation within the plans confirming that the Type I hoods in this project are clear of combustibles pursuant to 2018 IMC Section 506.3.6. Sheet P1.2: To ensure compliance of the gas line design; the inlet pressure, pressure drop, and specific gravity, also provide a gas load summary, size of all piping. (this information is lacking at the piping feeding the fixtures and the amount of BTUs coming in at meter. Additionally, the gas line design is missing for the roof. Please provide more details for the sizing of the gas lines in accordance with the IFGC. 3. General: The construction plans shall include for each floor level a riser diagram of the plumbing water, gas, and waste piping work. The construction plans shall indicate the direction of flow, all pipe sizes, grade of horizontal piping, loading, and location of fixtures and appliances.
