Please address the electrical plan review comments and provide a written response. 1.Previous comments not addressed. These plan review comments are not the latest comments entered per the electrical plan review on 6-8-2023. The response letter is dated 11-18-2020 ? Please submit the correct response and the correct revised plans. Electrical Plan Review Comments, 6-8-2023. Please address the electrical comments and provide a written response. 1 Ref; Plan Sheets CS-01, A-01, A-02, S-01, E-01, E-02, E-03, etc. The SCOPE OF WORK shows all existing modules, inverters etc. The Scope of work entered states “Remove and replace existing solar panels with new” Please clarify on the plans. Are they New or are they Existing to remain? 2 Ref; Line Diagrams Plan sheets E-03 and E-04. (a) The line diagrams show Supply Side Interconnection at the Service equipment. There is a note that states, "SUPPLY SIDE CONNECTION. THIS IS JUST A PANEL SWAP SO EVERYTHING IS ALREADY CONNECTED”. Provide detailed information about “PANEL SWAP SO EVERYTHING IS ALREADY CONNECTED”. (b) It appears that this “PANEL” is Electrical Service Equipment. Was this equipment upgraded as part of the scope of work? (c) What do the numbers inside the hexagon symbols represent shown in the line diagrams?. Indicate this on the plans. (d) Provide details and specifications of the electrical service equipment, ratings, voltage, Phase, AIC rating, etc. (e) The 600 amp OCPD in the ‘AC ACCUMULATION PANEL 01’ is oversized for the protection of the feeders going to the DG Meter. NEC art 240 and 310.15. (f) The ratings of the inverters shown on the line diagrams do not correlate with the ratings shown in the Inverter specifications. Please clarify. 3 Verify and provide detailed information on the plans for Rapid Shut down compliance with NEC 690.12. 4 Provide a grounding detail for the PV Module Racking system. 5 The PV Module specifications show both 230W and 280W PV Modules. Please clarify. 6 Provide a copy of the original permit, approved plans of the original rooftop PV installation. 7 Provide revised solar plans with accurate information including electrical calculations, grounding details, sealed by an Electrical Engineer registered in the State of Arizona. 8 Provide a grounding detail for the PV Module Racking system. Due to the design issues of this submitted plan set and nature of the review comments, additional review comments may be generated at the subsequent plan review. 01/19/2024 | Commercial Structural | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Submit your revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Building Review Section comments were addressed. The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. 1.) The previous two reiteration of my comments were not responded to. Please allow me to copy and paste for your opportunity to respond. 2.) Your submittals indicates new rails, legs, roof/rail attachments (see sheet S-01 and SS-02). Ensure that these replacement equipment/panels still comply to the Uplift Calculation based on the 115 MPH wind gust and the Roof Load Calculation showing the maximum allowable of 40 lbs per point load ( NOTE: you show array 01 and 03 at 66 lbs per penetration) and maximum allowable of 4 lbs per square foot on roof. You may add a statement from your Arizona registered structural engineer on your drawing attesting to this requirement with his seal and signature. 3.)
