Update the general building summary and occupant loads shown on sheet A0.0, the bakery should be a type B occupancy per 2018 IBC 303.1.1 not type M. Update the exit plan and indicate the occupancy count for the front area based on 2018 IBC 1004.5. 5. Clarify if this is a partial buildout for the bakery and a separate permit will be submitted for the IT of the restaurant. The floor plan on sheet A2.0 indicates both spaces as vacant and no equipment or furnishings were provided for the new bakery. 6. Provide a detail for the new demising wall A where it intersects with the existing storefront, this appears to be tied into a window. 7. Clarify that the new demising wall type A is only to go 6” above the ceiling and not go to the underside of the roof deck. 8. Indicate fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with 2018 IFC section 906.2. 9. Note on the drawings that any openings, existing or new within the fire rated barrier will be filled to match or exceed the fire rating of the wall. 2018 IBC 714. 10. Elevated water heater on plan page P2.0 requires a pan & drain piped to a waste receptor or exterior. -IPC 504.7.1, 504.7.2 5). one of the Sanitary connection points is flowing in the incorrect direction on plan page P1.0 - IPC 706.3 |
