COMMENTS: With the short period of time we have to review, it is possible that I may have missed relevant information. Please see my comments below and address them with this in mind. 1. SHEET CS.2 BUILDING CODE REVIEW / EGRESS PLAN a. Smoke Alarm required per IBC 508.5.7. This information can’t be found within the set of drawings. Please address this requirement. b. Between A-2 and R-3 of 1 hr separation with sprinkler per IBC 508.4. Detail drawing illustrating this code requirement can’t be found within the set of drawings. Please address this requirement. c. Handicap parking stall location. Please provide a drawings showing the location of the handicap stall as well as the accessible route. 2. SHEET A5.0 ENLARGED RESTROOM PLAN a. The turning space shall be a circular space with a 67-inch minimum diameter. ICC A117.1 sec 304.3.1.1 (60 inches is shown on the drawing Keynotes). Please correct this item. 3. Please confirm that there is no physical connection between the restaurant and the residence above function wise. 4. Please resubmit. |

Please verify the sanitary drainage piping materials are rated for the temperature of the waste discharged from the dishwasher in accordance with Section 702.5, IPC 2024. |
