1. Please revise the building code analysis to indicate the total number of stories in the building and identify the story on which this project is located. Section 107.2.1 of the IBC.
2. Please revise the plans to provide a life safety/egress plan. Section 107.2.1 of the IBC.
3. Additionally, indicate the path(s) of exit discharge to a public way or safe dispersal area. Sections 107.2.3 and 1028.5 of the IBC.
4. Please identify which entrances and exits are accessible, provide the required accessibility signage, and indicate the mounting locations and installation details for the signage. Section 1111 of the IBC.
5. Please revise the plans to indicate the heights of the new partition walls and provide either a metal stud table or structural calculations demonstrating that the metal studs used for interior walls and partitions exceeding 6 feet in height, including finish materials, have adequate strength and stiffness to resist applicable loads, but not less than a horizontal load of 5 psf. Section 1607.15 of the IBC.
6. Please provide ceiling heights on the Reflected Ceiling Plan. Section 107.2.1 of the IBC.

1. Provide designated electrical sheets for the electrical work being done.
2. Provide an Electrical floor plan that shows the location of all new, modified and existing electrical work. Mark each electrical device, outlet, light, etc. as existing, new, or relocated.
3. Provide electrical load calculations, for the Main Service Panel, Per NEC 220.40.
4. Provide a panel schedules, showing the circuits that are being modified, added or removed or existing. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. Include panel bus rating and A.I.C. rating. IBC 107.1.
5. Designate the circuit number on the electrical plans, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each, new or modified light fixture, receptacle, and equipment disconnect switch, NEC arts;300 and 408.4. IBC 107.1.
6. Provide complete compliance with the 2018 IECC for the interior lighting, including sensors and lighting controls as required. (typically COMcheck.)

COMMENTS:

1. Please revise the Building Code Analysis to include the minimum plumbing facilities required by Table 2902.1 and Section 2902.2 of the 2024 IBC for the mercantile occupancy. A service sink and drinking fountain are required. Please show the location of these fixtures on the plans.
