Condensate drains may not terminate in an area that is not capable of absorbing the condensate flow without surface drainage (see Rooftop Unit Support detail, M-201). Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson.
2. Revise the ventilation calculations using the 2024 International Mechanical Code. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2024 IMC as the approved method for calculating ventilation requirements for occupancies other than ambulatory care facilities and I-2 occupancies. Reference: Section 401.2, IMC 2024.
3. The specified high temperature, undercounter dishwasher emits heat and steam into the room during operation Show that the heat and moisture loads from the proposed dishwasher are included in the HVAC load calculations for the space or install a Type II hood over the dishwashing machine. Reference: Exception (6), Section 507.1, IMC 2024.
4. Provide general room exhaust for any cooking appliance that does not require the installation of a Type II hood (e.g. Blodgett Oven 3C, Rapid Cook Oven 3D). The minimum exhaust rate shall be 0.70 CFM per square foot, using a minimum area of 100 square feet for each individual appliance. Reference: Section 507.1, exception 6, IMC 2024.
5. Provide justification for installing an additional three tons of air conditioning into the café workroom for a total cooling capacity of approximately five tons. Reference: Section C403.3.1, IECC 2018.

05/18/2026 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Vents shall be graded to drain back to the drainage pipe and not be capable of forming traps or sags that can collect condensate and restrict air flow. The vent for the floor sink serving the dipper well and espresso machines is forming a trap. Reference: Section 905.2, IPC 2024.
2. A dishwasher may not discharge through a hydromechanical grease interceptor. Verify how the discharge from the dishwasher can be accommodated with the Pima County Industrial Wastewater Control Department (Adam.DeLaTorre@pima.gov). Reference: Section 1003.3, IPC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson.
3. Provide a vent downstream of the grease separator to protect the seal for the grease separator. The vent for the indoor grease interceptor shall rise vertically to at least 6” above the flood rim of the interceptor prior to running horizontally. Reference: Sections 905.4 and 1003.9, IPC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson.
