04/28/2026 Commercial Mechanical Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C403.3.1, IECC 2024.
2. Clarify the termination point for the 1-1/2” condensate drain for RHP-1 and RHP-2. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2024, and Section 307.2.1, IMC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson.
3. Provide calculations to verify that adequate ventilation will be provided for the occupied spaces. Reference: Section 403.3.1.1, IMC 2024.
4. Show how the building pressurization is to be accommodated. Reference: Section 403.1, IMC 2024.
5. Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fan so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted (i.e. all of the air supplied to each restroom is to be exhausted during the hours of operation even if the lights are off). Reference: Footnote g, Table 403.3.1.1, IMC 2024.

04/28/2026 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide a metering faucet for the lavatory, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10 seconds. Reference: Section 604.4, IPC 2024 and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-17.
2. Provide tempered water for the restroom lavatory with a device conforming to ASSE 1070. Coordinate the Plumbing Schedule description with Plumbing Note #8/P1.0. Reference: Section 419.5, IPC 2024.
3. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5.1, IECC 2018.
4. If the specified water heater is not supplied with integral heat traps, provide heat traps on the supply and discharge piping. Provide insulation per Table C403.11.3, IECC 2018 on the first 8 feet of supply and discharge piping. Reference: Section C404.4, IECC 2018.
5. Clarify the location of the water heater. Water heater schedule: “above FMS-1” (undefined). Water Heater Detail: “Set mounting height as high as possible.” Plumbing Note #7/P1.0: shelf 7’ AFF. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2024.
