Replace Electrical Meter and Disconnect
Comments:
1. The drawing "Partial Site Plan" (page 2 of 2) notes that the work will be
done at an existing electrical installation 1600 feet north of the billboard
location. That drawing, and the written scope of work, do not identify the
Specifications for the existing Meter Socket and Disconnect. The note just
says, "…to be replaced with new (like)."
The Panel Schedule "Exist. 206 Panel," identifies that the existing panel is
rated at 100 amps. That's the panel located on the billboard, and it is not
being replaced. But the cut sheets for the new Milbank meter socket and
the Disconnect are both rated 200 amps. What are the specifications for the
equipment that is being removed? For three #6 conductors, 100 amps
would be sufficient. The proposed equipment must have the same specs as
the existing equipment that is being removed. Please provide this
information.
2. The drawing "Electrical Service (Exist.)" has two risers with weatherheads,
but the written Scope of Work doesn't mention the second riser and
weatherhead. If it isn't involved in supplying power to this billboard, it
should not be replaced under this permit.
