Reference: Sections R403 and R503.1.2, IECC 2018. 2. Show the complete specifications for each air conditioner system, including the SEER2 and HSPF2 for each system. Current Federal Regulations require residential packaged heat pumps to have a minimum SEER2 13.4 and a minimum HSPF2 6.7. Reference: Section R103.2, IECC 2018. 3. Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson. 4. The mini-split heat pump specified in the Mini Split Unit Schedule has been discontinued and the unit shown in the Mini Split Specification (2/M1.0) is a completely different unit. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 2. To clarify the installation of the water heaters, provide a detail of the water heater installation, including the excess pressure relief: Show the location of the water heaters on a plumbing floor plan. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018 and Sections 503.1, and 504, IPC 2018. 3. Show the size, route, and termination of the T&P relief piping for the water heaters. Reference: Section 504, IPC 2018. 4. Provide a watertight pan of galvanized steel, aluminum, or other approved material under the water heater with a drain to an approved location. The drain from a pan located under a water heater shall terminate either to an indirect waste receptor or to the exterior of the building. Reference: Sections 504.7.2 and 802.4, IPC 2018. 5. If the specified water heater is not supplied with integral heat traps, provide heat traps on the supply and discharge piping. Provide insulation per Table C403.11.3, IECC 2018 on the first 8 feet of supply and discharge piping. Reference: Section C404.4, IECC 2018. 6. Provide pressure-absorbing devices for the water connections to appliances equipped with quick-acting or solenoid valves. The pressure-absorbing devices shall conform to ASSE 1010; an air chamber is not acceptable. Reference: Section 604.9, IPC 2018. 7. Provide cleanouts for all horizontal drains. Reference: Section 708.1.1, IPC 2018. 8. Connect the fixture vents to the vents through the roof. The vents through the roof may not be used for anything other than a vent. Reference: Sections 9012.1 and 903.4, IPC 2018. 9. Verify that a cleanout is provided at the junction of the building drain and the building sewer (i.e. within 30” of the exterior wall of the building). 10. Provide an air gap discharge indirect waste for the non-potable waste from the HVAC equipment (also, see Section 307.2.1, IMC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson).
