Provide an elevation view that shows how you will provide the required 8 foot Over Head Electrical Clearance over the duplex, NEC 230.24(A). 2. Provide GFCI protection for the laundry circuit #11, receptacles require readily accessible protection typically from an upstream device, E3902.9 & 10. [NEC 210.8(A)(10)]. 3. Provide receptacles in the bedroom wall spaces per E3901.2.2 [NEC 210.52(A)(2)]. The wall space behind the bedroom doors requires receptacles. Clarify the waste and vent riser diagrams: why are all of the fixtures, with the exception of two of the three water closets, labeled as “P-2”? Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 3. Coordinate the routing of the new building sewers as shown on the plumbing plan with the site drawing. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 4. Show the route of the existing building sewer on the site plan. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018. 5. The “Washer Outlet Boxes Sewer/Gray Water “ detail shows a separate box leading to a gray water outlet. Unit B displays this detail on the plumbing plan but Unit A does not. How will the gray water be handled 6. The fixture drain serving an automatic clothes washer shall connect to a fixture branch that is at least 3 inches in diameter. Reference: Section 406.2, IPC 2018 7. For the use of PEX tubing, provide a branch tube sizing chart showing the correct size of PEX tubing to be used as a substitute for the copper pipe shown on the drawings. Reference: Sections 303.2 and 604.3, IPC 2018. 8. An approved 2-way cleanout fitting is allowed to be used at the junction of a building drain and a building sewer; otherwise, cleanouts shall open to allow cleaning only in the direction of flow. Reference: Section 708.1.8, IPC 2018. 9. Provide the rim elevation of the next upstream sanitary manhole (8085-20). Determine the need for backwater valves per Section 714.1, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson. |
