Outdoor Lighting Review:

>>> The following comments were not addressed. The specification sheets do not meet the requirements of the Outdoor Lighting Code requirements found in OLC 104.2. Nor do the specification sheets provide the total lumens calculations as required. The requirements must be part of the sealed plans provided by the Engineer of Record.

1. Provide an outdoor lighting plan that meets the requirements of OLC 104.2. Show/locate the different light sources on your site plan. Number the light fixtures on your table and use the same number on your site plan
2. Update your photometric data to show the light throw with the house-side shields applied. The photometric data appears to be calculated without the house-side shields added.
3. Update your photometric data to include the areas outside of the property line and onto the right-away and residential properties.
4. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code with an approved lighting calculation in accordance with OLC 3.1.2. Include all exterior fixtures on the property in the calculations. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1.
5. Show compliance with total outdoor light output per 2012 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code section 401.2. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1. 4. E1.1 – Lighting Code section 104.2.2.
6. Show compliance with shielding requirements and light trespass per 401.3. >>> The house-side shields must be noted and shown on the actual sealed plans. Compliance with this section must also include the maximum mounting height of the fixture per OLC 401.3.1.
7. Submit catalogue or specification sheets of all proposed new outdoor lighting fixtures illustrating the type of fixture, color temperature, lumens rating and whether full cut-off or unshielded. >>> highlight the exact configuration of lighting specifications being used.

8. Indicate whether or not a special inspection is required per sec. 104.2.2, and 106.2.

9. Specify any exceptions used.

10. Provide Curfew lighting controls If applicable Per section 403.
