4. Sheet S1.3 / General Notes & Concrete Notes / Current Code: The currently adopted building code for the City of
Tucson is the 2018 International Building Code and its auxiliary codes. Please review the general notes on Sheet
S1.3 (General Note #1, Concrete Note #1) and revise to remove references to the California Building Code and refer
to the currently adopted ACI codes (ie. ACI 318-14).
5. Sheet S1.3 (2) / Connection Schedule / Missing Detail: The Connection Schedule on Sheet S1.3 appears to be
referencing a shear connection detail that has not been provided. Please confirm what Dimensions A thru D are
referring to and provide a detail if required.
6. Sheet S3.1 / Missing Details: The Roof Framing Plans 1 & 2 on Sheet S3.1 include multiple detail references that do
not appear to be included in the provided construction documents. Refer to Sheet S3.1 for references to Detail 1, 6, 8,

This site is located in the C-1 zone (UDC 4.7.20). Food and Beverage Sales: Excluding Large Retail Establishment is a permitted use in the zone (UDC Table 4.8-4), subject to Use Specific Standard 4.9.13.O.

1. The proposed exterior work requires a development package. Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c A site plan (Development Package) is required for the following types of development: Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building. A Development Package (DP) meeting the requirements of Administrative Manual (AM) 2-06 must be submitted and approved prior to approval of this building plan.
