2. Sheet CS-1: Please provide a detailed description of the work involved in this permit’s scope. IBC 105.3 What is being remodeled into what? Are walls being demoe’d? Are new walls being erected? The addition of a three-compartment sink, grease interceptor, hood, etc.
3. Sheet A-1: Please amend the plans to show doors serving a space with ≥ 50 persons swing in the direction of egress travel. IBC 1010.1.2.1
3. Sheet A-1: Please amend the plans to note or otherwise indicate doors serving a space with ≥ 50 persons in A occupancies have panic hardware. IBC 1010.1.10
4. Sheet A-1: Please amend the egress plans to show exit signs are shown at doors, as required to direct egress, and every 100 feet. IBC 1013.1 Additionally, please amend the plans to show the method and locations of emergency illumination provided by IBC 1008.3 For example, bug eye with battery backup.
5. Please amend the plans to show the new counters and self-service shelves meet accessibility requirements of IBC 1109.12.3 and 1109.12.4. For example, a portion of the counter an shelving is required to be accessible. Please refer to 2009 ICC A117.1 Chapter 9 for technical requirements.
6. Please amend the plans to provide structural construction drawings and details showing the method of connecting the new hood to the existing roof framing members. IBC 107.2.7

05/02/2025 Commercial Mechanical Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Clarify the balancing data for EF-4. The Exhaust Fan Schedule calls for 100 CFM of exhaust but the Air Balance Schedule calls for 150 CFM o0f exhaust.
2. The Air Balance Schedule shows 450 CFM of outside air being transferred. What is the source of this transferred air?
05/02/2025 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Verify that the grease interceptor will be installed within the property lines. Reference: Section 107.2.6, IBC2018.
2. All water outlets or direct-connection of water to an appliance shall be protected against backflow. Specify the device to be used for each outlet or appliance connection. Reference: Sections 608.3 and 608.16, IPC 2018
3. Provide a cleanout at the junction of the building drain and the building sewer (i.e., within 30” of the exterior wall of the building). Reference: Section 708.1.3, IPC 2018.
04/23/2025 Fire New Construction Standard REVIEW COMPLETED The following items apply to the proposed project:
1. Fire alarm or fire sprinklers alterations requires a separate permit.
2. Page M-2, Kitchen hood schedule-Type 2 hood requires a separate permit for hood fire suppression.
3. If Applicable: Co2 Systems requires a separate permit.
