Sheet S101 General Structural Notes: Please amend the referenced codes on the construction drawings to remove the references to UFC 3-301-01. Additionally, please coordinate the design loads on the plans and the calcs so both so the same information. IBC 107.2.1 for example, the plans indicate Risk Category II and wind speed 103 MPH, while the Calcs, show Risk Category I wind speed 96 MPH. Treat this as a typical comment. Related to above, coordinate the Soil Bearing Capacity to be consistent on both documents, If using 2000 Soil Bearing Capacity, please justify. 2. Structural Calculations: Please update the Design Code to show the 2018 IBC, as amended by the City of Tucson as the governing code. This comment was not addressed. COMMENT: This project requires a Development Package submittal. While the proposed modifications are minor, the building square footage is expanding and orientation is changing. These modifications must be reviewed for compliance with the last approved DP for purposes of building expansion percentage. Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c A site plan (Development Package) is required for the following types of development: Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building. A development package (DP) meeting the requirements of the Checklist for Minor Changes to Commercial/Industrial Sites is required to be submitted and approved. The DP is a separate submittal from the building plans.
