Please provide an EGRESS PLAN - Show the dimension of the overall diagonal of the space per IBC 1007. Provide the distance between required exits. NOTE: egress shall not pass through kitchen, storage or closet per IBC 1016. At each exit, indicate the distance traveled, width of exit and number of individuals exiting. 2. Does fire sprinkler exist. 3. Fire rated wall between Mercantile and Assembly spaces (1 hr if sprinklered, 2 hr if sprinklered). 4. Submit the layout of the retail space, ensure to show the egress path from within this space, etc. Locate the cash register counter, show where power is coming from. 5. Illustrate via a drawing how the ANSI A117.1 is being met when it comes to the height and surface width requirement for the cash register counter. 6. THE MEANS OF EGRESS WILL BE ILLUMINATED TO A LEVEL OF NOT LESS THAN ONE FOOT-CANDLE AT THE WALKING SURFACE AT ALL TIMES THE BUILDING SPACE SERVED BY THE MEANS OF EGRESS IS OCCUPIED. IBC 1008.2.1 Locate/label the lighted exit sign, emergency light with back-up power as well as the fire extinguisher. 1. Please resubmit. |
