Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Clarify if the pre-engineered roof trusses J-1 indicated on sheet S-2.0 will be under a differed submittal or provide details for their construction. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Correct the drawing index on sheet T-1.0 to match the actual drawings provided in the set. The flowing sheets are missing from the set or are included but not on the index. Coordinate. SP-1.1, SP-1.3, A-1.1, A-2.1, A-3.0, A-3.0a, A5.2, A-5.3, A-8.0, A-8.0a, A-8.1a, FS 4.1, FS 6.2, M-6.0, E-2.2, E-2.3, E-2.4. The Civil Site Utility Plan indicates sheet 6 of 10, not 5 of 11 as indicated in the index. Multiple details were indicated on sheets that were not provided. Additional review comments may be required once all sheets have been provided. 2. Add 2018 International Fuel Gas Code to list of applicable codes on sheet T-1.0 and update the outdoor lighting code to indicate “Tucson/ Pima County”. 3. The Schematic Site Plan on sheet SP-1.0 does not show the door from the dining area to the exterior at the southeast corner. Provide additional information for the exterior of this area showing the door swing, exterior landing area and the distance to the curb ramp for accessibility clearances. 4. Clarify where the patio trellis and fencing are located that is shown in the details sheet SP-1.3, none was found on the site plan. This is also noted on sheet A-1.0 general note 6. 5. Update the light pole footing and base detail sheet SP-1.4. The tag note indicates ¾” elec. conduit, see sht. ES1.0 however there is no ES1.0 in the set. 6. Provide a life safety exiting plan for the new structure. Include the breakdown for occupants per area, means of egress size, and distance from most remote point. 2018 IBC chapter 10. 7. Clarify if the dining area is to have fixed seating. The occupancy count on sheet T-1.0 is based on 16 “fixed” seats however the table legend detail on sheet A-1.0 indicates free standing tables as well as the floor plan (freestanding community table). Coordinate. 8. Correct the partition type notes for detail 2 on sheet A-1.0, some of the text has been cut off. 9. Provide a COMCheck or other mythology to verify envelope compliance in accordance to 2018 IECC C402. 10. Show the top of the roof deck elevation on the wall sections sheet A-7.0 or provide a dimension from the finished roof to the top of the parapets. This is to determine if the proposed parapets will be sufficient to provide fall protection for the HVAC roof unit that is shown on sheet A-4.0. 11. Note on the roof finish schedule sheet A-10.0 that all interior wall and ceiling finishes shall be class B or better. 2018 IBC Table 803.13. 12. Provide details for the accessible elements required for the space including the service counter, door clearances and restroom elements per the ICC A117.1-2009 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities on the drawings. 13. Provide enlarged restroom plans and indicate all fixture clearances for compliance with ICC A117.1-2009 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide a mechanical COMcheck or other approved methodology for the HVAC heating and cooling units that is in compliance with the 2018 IECC. 2. Provide a mechanical roof plan for the project. Indicate the distance to the roof edge from the new RTU. If the distance is less than 10 feet, indicate how fall protection will be provided in accordance with the IMC and 2018 IBC 1015.6. (The height of the parapet is unknown). ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Provide an interior lighting COMcheck or other approved methodology for the project for the new proposed lighting that is in compliance with the 2018 IECC. 2. Indicate bollards or other means of protection for the new electrical service as well as the existing electrical power transformer located in the new parking lot to protect from physical damage or vehicle accidents. 2017 NEC 110.27. 3. The reflected ceiling plan sheet A-2.0 indicates the kitchen door to the yard as a required egress. Show the exit signage and emergency lighting with battery backup for the kitchen and the door on the lighting plan sheet E3.0. Coordinate the lighting plan, reflected ceiling and life safety drawings. 4. Indicate emergency light with a battery backup on the exterior at the exit doors to illuminate the landings. 2018 IBC 1008.3.2 (5). PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied First Plumbing Review: 1). Plan page A4.0 needs to include primary & secondary scupper locations along with detail & sizing calculations.- IPC 1106.1, 1106.5, 1108 2). Plan page A4.0 needs to include downspout sizes along with GPM loads - IPC 1106.3 3). Condensate & Ice Machine can't discharge to grease system on plan pages P1.0 & P2.0 -IPC 1003.2 4).Beverage dispenser detail on P3.0 needs ASSE 1022 Backflow device -IPC 608.17.1.1 5). add mop sink & faucet manufacturer & model number to FS 2.1 or P6.0 currently states "provided by GC" -IPC 303 6).
