Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide structural calculations/ letter from a licensed structural engineer indicating the existing roof structure is sufficient to hold the weight of the new roof top unit. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide an updated set of drawings with current architectural and engineering seals, the set provided was signed in 2021. 2. Add to the list of applicable codes on sheet CS1.0 the 2018 International Fuel Gas Code. 3. Update the food service drawings on the index to match the actual separate sheet numbers provided and correct the mechanical hood sheets in the index, M4.0 and M4.1 are separate sheets. Each individual sheet that is part of the set should be listed. 4. Clarify if this is an as-build set of drawings or this space has not been constructed yet. Final heath department inspection and final test and balance report were included with the submittal. 5. Sheet CS1.0 indicates that the hood and associated components will be provided as a differed submittal. The hood and walk in freezer and fridge shop drawings were included in the set with the equipment sheets and on the mechanical drawings. Coordinate drawings and clarify what is to be differed. 6. Clarify the accessible clearance on push side for the back exit door will be provided. The equipment plans sheet QF101 shows a locker located next to the door frame, and the finish plan sheet A1.2 indicates a fire extinguisher. Show the required clearance on the finish floor plan for the back door where the other doors have already been indicated. 7. The equipment plans sheet QF101 indicates the bag and box syrup pack to be mounted below the electrical service panels. It is unknown if there is enough room without overlapping the panels. The working clearance for the electrical panels must be provided and the syrup pack must be relocated. See electrical comments and coordinate. 8. The equipment plans on sheet QF11 indicate a baby changing station in the rest room that is not shown on the enlarged floor plan sheet A1.5. Add the changing station to the toilet accessory schedule and verify clearance. 9. Update the accessibility notes on sheet A1.5 to indicate the requirements for ICC A117.1 not the ADA. 10. The construction notes 8 and 9 on sheet CS1.0 indicate the flame spread and smoke density for finish materials as well as nonflammable materials for decorative items. Clarify how the reclaimed wood ceiling “cloud” will meet these requirements. 11. Provide construction details on the number of hangers and locations for the hanging of the new ceiling cloud. Provide a plan view including dimensions to go with the detail 7 on sheet A4.1 MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Indicate if the new unit above the freezer is within 10 feet of the roof edge on the roof plan sheet M1.0. If so, indicate if the existing parapet is sufficient for fall protection in accordance with the IMC and 2018 IBC 1015.6. 2. Provide a roof curb detail for the new unit. ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied 1. Provide an interior lighting COMcheck or other approved methodology for the project for the new proposed lighting that is in compliance with the 2018 IECC. 2. Update general note 1 on sheet E1.1 that indicates additional general conditions are provided on sheet E1.0. There is no E1.0 included with this set. 3. Indicate the required clearance for the electrical panels on sheet E1.2. Coordinate with the architectural and equipment plans that indicate the syrup boxes to be installed under the new panel. 2017 NEC 110.26. 4. Indicate the location of an existing emergency light on the exterior at the exit doors to illuminate the landings or indicate new fixtures will be provided. 2018 IBC 1008.3.2 (5). 5. Indicate the location of all “night lighting” on the plans for egress illumination or indicate light sensors will be used. All rooms and usable floor surfaces in a building shall be equipped with artificial lighting and shall be illuminated at all times that the space is occupied. 2018 IBC 1008.2. PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied First Plumbing Review: 1). This occupancy type & load requires 2 restrooms - IPC 403.1, 403.2 Update all affected pages 2). Floor drains on plan page P1.0 need to discharge thru grease interceptor -Tucson plumbing code amendments. 3). what is the use of 1 compartment sink on P1.0? if receiving grease laden waste will need to discharge thru grease system - Tucson Plumbing code amendments 4). Handsinks shown on P1.0 will need signs " “HANDWASH SINK ONLY! NO FOOD PREPARATION OR DISHWASHING ALLOWED.” -Tucson Plumbing Code Amendments 5). Plan page P1.0 DWV riser is missing ice Mach./Beverage counter Floor sink piping illustrations - IPC 106.3.1 6). Plan Page P2.0 fixture schedule shows 1" flush valve type toilet , plan page P1.1 water piping is undersized in that area. Pages need to correlate. -IPC 604.5 7).
