05/10/2023 Commercial Mechanical REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Edit the remarks in the Exhaust Fan Schedule for EF-1 to call out only those remarks that apply to the specified exhaust fan. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
2. The exhaust for the new Type I hoods is 607 CFM greater than the make-up air flowrate. Verify that sufficient outside air is being supplied to the suite so that the room pressure remains essentially neutral. Reference: Sections 501.4 and 508.1, IMC 2018.
05/15/2023 Commercial Structural REQUIRES RESUBMIT We consulted the previously approved permit for this restaurant. Quite a lot of discrepancy is what we found. Please make the necessary corrections (this is more than just hoods being replaced):
1. Walk In cooler or freezer has been removed and replaced with 2 door refrigeration or freezer equipments have taken its place. Please reflect in your demo plan drawing the removed walk in and submit he catalog cuts of these equipments making sure that they are NSF compliant.
2. These are new pasta cooker, fryers and cook top ranges with ovens. Reflect on your demo plan drawing the removal of the previous equipments.
3. The wall that would have been where the new steam tables are shown is now removed. Show this on your demolition plan.
4. The new reach in freezer and refrigerator now shows the existing opening filled in and a new opening added away from these units. Show on your demolition plan the closed opening and call out the new opening as new.
5. The server station has been removed. Show this on your demolition plan.
6. The ice cream area is a new configuration totally different to the previous configuration. Reflect what was demoed in the demolition plan.
7. Submit all of the drawings required to construct all of the above items.
8. Submit the correct Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing that correspond to these new configuration.
9. Submit to the Fire Department the new cofiguration for the sprinkler, fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lights, lighted signs, etc. for their review and approval.
10. Reflect in the Electrical Drawings the electrical required by the fire alarm, emergency lights, lighted signs, etc.
11. Show on your site plan the parking stalls for this restaurant as well as the bicycle rack, the handicap stalls and striped route and the loading dock. Show the parking calculation.
12. Please resubmit.
