05/09/2023 Commercial Structural REQUIRES RESUBMIT BUILDING REVIEW: DATE: May 9, 2023 Please resubmit revised drawings and any red-lined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Building Review Section comments were addressed. 1. Fire Sprinkler is required and processed as a separate permit. Submit the drawings to the Fire Department for review and approval. They will also conduct inspection, their approval will be required before issuing the Certificate of Occupancy. 2. Electrical work related to installation of Emergency Lights, Lighted Signs, Audible Fire Alarm shall also be reviewed as part of this permit by submitting Electrical drawings. An inspection will be conducted by our inspectors prior to issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. 3. Any new work must be included as part of this building permit.

4. PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR INDICATED TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION IS IIIA or IIIB.
5. Per IBC 1016.2.1 Where more than one tenant occupy any one floor of a building or structure, each tenant space shall be provided with access to required exits without passing through adjacent tenant spaces. Suite 151 is going through Suite 131.
6. The drawings indicate no work on this project. However, the photograph of this space front entry shows a part metal double door with side-lites on either side. This drawing shows a single door with new storefront to the left of the door. Please provide drawings/information for this new door. Please also note the historic nature of this structure.
7. The third required water closet is within the proposed banquet hall (not accessible to all suites)
8. The fourth required water closet is within the barber shop and only accessible to the barber shop.
9. The mop sink is within the restaurant kitchen. This is not accessible to the other suites.
10. Please re-submit.
