05/05/2023 Commercial Structural REQUIRES RESUBMIT Aloha Vince,
Please make the necessary adjustments enumerated below:
1. Per Joshua Katz, this operation is Light Assembly, Shipping, Storage. This means that this building is changing from Office (B) to Factory (F-1 ?).
2. Your sheet 1 drawing indicates no new walls to impact automatic sprinkler. Please confirm that fire sprinklers are existing. Please confirm that emergency lights and fire alarm exist. If not, please provide electrical drawings powering these. Equipment for Assembly of products may need electric? Show these on your drawings as well please.
3. Your exiting diagram shows a total of 3823 sf area resulting to 19 occupant load. (Note: Office with 194 sf should have occupant, Office with 337 sf should have 2 occupants & Light Assembly/R&D/Storage of 1857 sf should have 6 occupant load at 300 gross).
4. At 3,823 sf and 300 sf per stall gives you 13 parking stalls. Please reflect this in your site plan.
5. Please re-submit.
6. Below is Mr. Katz response to Zoning
As previously discussed, we have a staff of 5 to 7 employees depending on the month of the
year and we would not conduct any retail sales from the building. Our business would consist of
Light Assembly, Shipping, Storage and Meetings.

Please confirm that all these activities would be permitted and based on providing the city with
the requested drawings and going through the Approval Process, we would then be OK to
conduct our business as described above.

I appreciate your help and look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Joshua E. Katz
