Previous plan review comments are as follows; “Indicate conduit and conductor sizes and types for the electrical service riser. 2 Verify that the new panel locations will not require branch circuit extensions and AFCI protection per NEC art 210.12(D). Provide for AFCI protection if applicable. 3 Unit rewiring will require a complete electrical power and lighting floorplan if applicable”. Provide detailed information of the total scope of electrical work to be performed associated with this project on the plans. 1 if overhead electrical service entrance is utilized. (The electrical line diagram does not specify). The conduit and service entrance conductors for the service riser are to be installed by the electrical contractor of record, not the serving Utility. Indicate the conduit and conductor sizes, quantity and types. Verify compliance NEC art 230 part 5. 2 Indicate total service load calculation for the electrical service on the Plan sheet E0.1. 3 Provide a power and lighting floorplans with the following information; Show the location of the new breaker panels. Provide complete panel schedules indicating AFCI and GFI protected branch circuits in compliance with NEC art 210. Provide compliance with the 2018 IECC for the lighting. Show all devices, lighting and outlets being replaced as well as Mechanical and Plumbing where applicable. If exterior lighting is to be replaced. Provide full compliance with the 2012 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code. Provide for Tamper resistant replacement receptacles as required per NEC art 406.12. If the AC units are to be installed on the roof of the dwellings, provide for GFI protected receptacles for Mechanical maintenance as required per NEC art 210.6. 4 Provide plans sealed by an Electrical Engineer Registered in the State of Arizona Ref; 2018 IBC section 107.1, 107.2.1, 2017 NEC, 2012 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code, 2018 IECC. |
