2. Provide an Egress Plan. Show these information on the Egress Plan including cabinets, furnitures, tables and chairs, displays, equipments, etc. which will reveal the actual exit route.
a. Enter the distance of travel within the facility and their direction of travel.
b. At the point of exit, enter the required width, the provided width, the distance traveled and the number of occupants exiting.
3. Please amend plans to show the current design occupant load analysis to specify the individual building area of each room or space that is shown on the plan.
a. Further, enter the name of the space, area square footage, clarify the design occupant load (gross or net s.f. per person used) and the number of occupants for each room or space on the plan, in accordance with the requirements of IBC Table 1004. IBC 107.2.7
4. Ensure that the facility is accessible complying to the ICC/ANSI A117.1 for both Employees and Customers. The tops of dining surfaces and work surfaces 902.4: shall be 28 inches min and 34 inches max above the floor. Parallel approach 904.3.2: the public use side of the counter surface 36 inches in length minimum. Forward approach 904.3.3: the public use side of the counter surface 30 inches minimum in length. Knee clearance 306.3: between 9 inches and 27 inches above the floor. Maximum depth 306.3.2: extend 25 inches maximum under an element at 9 inches above the floor. Minimum depth 06.3.3: Where clear floor space complying with Section 305, the knee clearance shall be 11 inches minimum in depth at 9 inches above the floor, and 8 inches minimum in depth at 27 inches above the floor.
5. IEBC 305.7 requires that accessibility be provided to the altered spaces. Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. If these items are in full compliance with the current code, provide a statement indicating this on the cover sheet of the drawings. Otherwise, accessibility upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7. 1. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. (A) Alterations made to provide an accessible path of travel to the altered area will be deemed disproportionate to the overall alteration when the cost exceeds 20% of the cost of the alteration to the primary function area. (B) Costs that may be counted as expenditures required to provide an accessible path of travel may include: For example, costs associated with making restrooms accessible, such as installing grab bars, enlarging toilet stalls, insulating pipes, or installing accessible faucet controls.

3. Provide electrical load calculations, for the Main Service Panel, Per NEC 220.40.
4. Provide a panel schedules, showing the circuits that are being modified, added or removed or existing. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. Include panel bus rating and A.I.C. rating. IBC 107.1.
5. Designate the circuit number on the electrical plans, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each, new or modified light fixture, receptacle, and equipment disconnect switch, NEC arts;300 and 408.4. IBC 107.1.
6. Show any lighting fixtures being added for both interior and exterior egress and exit lights.
