The output capacity of the heating and cooling equipment shall not be greater than the smallest available equipment size that exceeds the calculated loads determined in accordance with Section C403.1.1. The Equipment Cooling Load Summary indicates a total required cooling load of approximately 18.8 MBH, which appears significantly lower than the capacity of the proposed 5-ton unit. Please provide additional justification for the proposed 5-ton unit or revise the design to utilize equipment sized closer to the calculated load. |
