COMMENTS:
The City verified the configuration of this facility using previously approved building permit. Code enforcement also exists against this facility as a result of work being done without a permit.
1. BASED ON THE ABOVE PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING:
a. Show all work that was done without a permit.
b. Using dash line, show the items that were demolished/removed.
c. Please provide detail drawings illustrating how they were built and what equipment/components are included on the installation.
2. DOORS
a. We also noticed door being removed between the new tenants configurations.
b. If this was done, please indicate which door was removed.
c. Indicate what was used to replace the door.
i. Please provide detail drawings illustrating how this is built.
3. DEMISING WALL
a. Fire rated wall is required between tenants per IBC 402.4.2.1 and IBC 708.
b. Please provide detail drawing at the bottom of the demising wall.
c. Please provide detail drawing at the top of the wall meeting the underside of the roof deck.
4. EGRESS PLAN
a. Please provide an egress plan.
b. Please do indicate the travel distance at the point of exit as well as required exit width, provided exit width and the number of people existing at that point.
5. Provide the Code Analysis.
a. This will be necessary in order to be able to fill the Certificate of Occupancy document of which is being requested.
b. Submit the calculation for the minimum required plumbing fixtures.
c. Submit the exit width calculation.
6. Per the International Building Code 2024, an Arizona licensed registrant shall generate the drawings as submission for the building permit application.
a. Please have an Architect generate the drawings along with his/her seal/signature/date on every Architectural sheets. Please do the same with the Mechanical, Electrical Engineers.
7. Please resubmit.
