Special Inspections: None. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS Sheet A1 1. Where cold baths are provided in a cluster, at least 5 percent, but not less than one of the cold baths shall be accessible. Please provide means of accessibility in compliance with section 1009 of the ICC A117.1-2017 for one of the cold baths. [Ref. 2024 IBC Sec. 1111.4.14] 2. The turning radius and clear floor space indicates in the sauna do not meet the minimum dimensions of the ICC A117.1-2017. The turning radius indicates 60” but 67” is the required minimum diameter. The clear floor space indicates a length of 48” but the minimum length is 52”. Please revise. [Ref. ICC A117.1-2017 Sec. 304.3.1.1 & 305.3.1] 3. The plans must indicate at least one accessible shower in the Spa area. [Ref. 2024 IBC Sec. 1110.2] Sheet A3 1. The wood platform stairs in the cold plunge area indicate a tread rise of 9”.
