All corrections must be clouded, delta numbered, with a brief explanation within the plan sheet or the title block. Please
include with the resubmittal a separate response narrative, which is numbered or itemized to correspond to each of the noted
plan review comments items.

1. Sheet CV. Indicate the “Inclusive Home Design Ordinance” in the applicable codes listed on this sheet.
2. Sheet GN General Notes. Note on the plans that fire blocking and draft stopping will be provided in accordance with
2018 IBC Section 708.4.2.
3. Sheet GN General Notes. Note on the plans that all interior finishes will be in accordance with 2018 IBC 803.1.
4. Sheet 2 Floor Plan. Label bedroom #5, the information is missing. Include the overall size and ceiling height.
5. Sheet 2 Floor Plan. Provide a life safety/ exit plan on the drawings that indicates the travel distances from the most
remote points for R-4 occupancy as well as the occupant loads. 2018 IBC 1004 and 1017.2. The electrical plan
indicates an exit sign above the exterior door in the office. Clarify if this is to be considered one of the required exits
for the space. If so this door must not lock and the minimum clear exit width must remain clear at all times.
6. Sheet 2.1 Floor Plan. Clarify the turning radius in bath #1. It is not indicated as a 5ft circle turning radius as indicated
in the other bath areas.
7. Sheet 2.1 Floor Plan. Indicate the location of the egress windows in all the rooms used for sleeping purposes. 2018
IBC 1030.1 (2).
8. Sheet 2.1 Floor Plan. Provide information on the skylights to be installed on the window schedule.
9. Sheet 2.1 Floor Plan. Bath #11 and Bath #12 have doors that when opened could block the exit corridor. Doors when
fully opened shall not reduce the required exit width by more than 7”. Doors in any position shall not reduce the
required exit width by more than 1/2. (The noted exceptions are only for R-2 and R-3 occupancies). Clarify that there
is enough area around the doors if partially open will still provide a minimum clear egress path. 2018 IBC 1005.7.1.
10. Sheet 2.1 Floor Plan. Provide construction details for the door headers, window headers and sills, skylights, and the
slump wall infill areas on the plans.
