Ansley of Arizona date signed 6/15/18 (not acceptable). Please have Mr. Ansley affix his seal/signature in the year 2025. 2. The structural calculations is sealed by structural engineer Madhan Kumar Kantha Samy of Arizona. a. 59 pages of 95 total pages have the stamp, “NOT APPROVED FOR CONSTRUCTION”. b. The City of Tucson cannot review and approve a set of submittals bearing such a stamp. c. Please remove it. 3. The General Structural Notes sheet. a. Is calling for special inspection on: i. Field Welding ii. Structural Steel iii. Masonry Construction iv. Post-Installed Epoxy Anchor b. The sheet is sealed by a Daniel Joseph Steele whose license expired on 12/31/21. c. This structural sheet seems to have come from an Interior Renovation of the Fry store. d. Please have structural engineer Madhan Kumar Kantha Samy provide the appropriate General Structural Notes sheet that is generated for this Photovoltaic System. i. Please have Mr. Samy of Arizona seal/sign/date the sheet. 4. Load Testing/Laboratory Report a. Page 30 is sealed/signed by an Engineer Robert Nieminen with a Florida License. b. The Florida license is now allowed in Arizona. c. Please have Structural Engineer Madhan Kumar Kantha Samy of Arizona review this report and have him seal/sign/date the report. 5. Construction Plans: 59 pages of 113 total pages have the stamp, “NOT APPROVED FOR CONSTRUCTION”. a. The City of Tucson cannot review and approve a set of submittals bearing such a stamp. b. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. This is a commercial project, requiring all documents to be prepared, sealed, signed, and dated by a registered design professional. Provide complete electrical plans, design, and calculations, sealed by an Arizona Registrant. PV system circuits installed on or in buildings shall include a rapid shutdown function to reduce shock hazard for emergency responders in accordance with 690.12(A) through (D). 4. The (2 sets) #350KCMIL CU conductor appears undersized for the given 700A OCPD. Conductors shall be protected with OCPD’s having a rating not exceeding the allowable ampacity of the conductor, reference NEC 310.15, 240.4. Reference sheet E400, conductors ACDS-1 – MSB.
