1. Please provide structural design, calculations and construction drawings prepares by an Arizona licensed design professional used for the design of the new opening in the exterior masonry wall. IBC 107.2.7

3. Please amend plans to show how the accessibility elements have been upgraded. IEBC 305.7 requires that accessibility be provided to the altered spaces. Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. If these items are not fully compliant, upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.305.7.
For example, the existing toilets do not appear to be fully compliant with the 2009 ICC A117.1 604.3 clearances around the water closet.
A. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. If this exemption is used, accessibility upgrades equaling 20% of the cost of the project shall be made.
B The stated valuation of the project is $50,000 leaving $10,000 available for Accessibility upgrades.
