Submit your revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Building Review Section comments were addressed. The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review.
COMMENTS:
1. The Site Plan is locating Suite 117 in the wrong building wing. Please correct this.
2. This building wing contains Suite 115, Suite 117 and Suite 123.
3. You are proposing to build an interior wall separating Suite 115 from the other 2 suites. According to your proposal, Suites 117 and 123 will act as one space for Kyocera Euclid. Please apply for a legal address with Pima County Addressing at 520-724-9512. It is very possible that Suite 123 will be deleted from the addressing system and Suite 117 will be used for both suites. This has to be officially made clear in the addressing system. Please submit the resulting documentation of this change.
4. Suite 123 has a visible main entrance and Suite 117 also has a visible main entrance. The separated Suite 115 does not have a visible main entrance, were they using the suite 117 main entrance as part of their exiting system, is their mean of egress resolved? Please confirm.
5. Since Suite 115 is being separated from the rest of the facility space, how is the electrical, plumbing, mechanical system being separated and how it is controlled. Provide drawings illustrating this new configuration.
6. There is only one restroom facility shown on the Floor/Egress Plan. Does Suite 115 have their own restroom. Please confirm that they are not using these same restrooms in their former configuration.
7. On your Egress Plan, show the travel distances and the number of occupants exiting from each exit.
8. There are substantial Lab spaces shown on the Floor/Egress Plan. Please indicate on the plan the type of activities occurring in each lab space as well as chemicals stored within the lab. Please do indicate any chemical quantities being used and stored in the Shop, S&R and Storage.
9. You show on your plan existing lighted exit signs. Please locate and label the emergency lights with battery backup on the plan. While you are adding these information, please go ahead and locate/label the fire extinguisher(s) location.
10. The enclosed water closet in the restroom seems properly sized for wheelchair accessible use. Please add the 5 ft turning circle within the stalls confirming and illustrating this compliance.
11. Please locate and label the mop sink on the Floor/Egress Plan.
12. Please locate and label the drinking fountain on the Floor/Egress Plan.
13. Please confirm that there were no new work such as new partition walls constructed since the last building permit to now.
14. Please resubmit.
