BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS:

1. Sheet A0.0: The occupant load/plumbing fixture calculations provided are incorrect. The International Building Code (IBC) does not base the requirements for occupant load calculations on proposed employees on shift. A space-byspace occupant location is required. Provide an accurate and complete occupant load calculation in accordance with Section 1004.3 and Tale 1004.5.
NOTE: Proposed shift occupants is not a concept established by the IBC in regards of occupant load calculations, as policies and shifts may change over time. The foundational principles of occupant load calculations are founded in maximum simultaneous occupancy of the structure. This is the conservative approach the permits the deviation of policy and shifts. Any deviation from the prescriptive requirements of calculating occupant loads is considered an alternate means and methods and would be required to be approved by the building official.
