Another toilet and wash basin must be provided when there are four (4) or more treatment rooms in an establishment. Where the existing path of travel elements, which entails a primary entrance, a primary path of travel, sanitary facilities serving the area, a drinking fountain, and signs. Accessibility upgrades shall be required in accordance with IEBC.306.7. 1. If the cost of providing or upgrading the items above to be accessible is disproportionate to the cost of construction (exceeds 20% of the cost of construction not including accessibility upgrades), please provide information to verify construction costs. For example, the bathrooms do not appear to comply with the clear space requirements of 2017 ICC A117.1 604.3

03/12/2026 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. A massage establishment having four or more treatment rooms shall have two restrooms. Show how both restrooms are accessible from the treatment rooms. Reference: Section 7-137 (7), Tucson Charter and General Ordinances, 2026.
2. Verify that the fixture drain for the automatic clothes washer is connecting to a fixture branch that is at least 3 inches in diameter. Reference: Section 406.2, IPC 2024.
3. Faucets serving lavatories in all buildings other than R3 occupancies, individual units in R2 occupancies, or International Residential Code structures shall be automatic faucets dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per cycle. The cycle time shall not be less than ten-seconds for accessibility. Reference: Section 412.13, IPC 2024 as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. A water heater conforming to ASSE 1082 or ASSE 1084 is approved as a control for delivering tempered water to the lavatories. If the proposed tankless water heater does not conform to ASSE 1082 or ASSE 1084, provide a temperature mixing valve listed as conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Section 607.1.2, IPC 2024.
