This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2024 International Building Code (IBC), 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC). Contact Jeremy Hamblin with any questions: Jeremy.hamblin@tucsonaz.gov Plans shall include (as necessary for scope of work), but may not be limited to items below: 1. Provide an electrical plan showing the location of all demo’ed, modified or new electrical equipment, outlets, lighting fixtures, etc. Are there new lighting fixtures being added to properly illuminate the bar surface? 2. Show all wiring methods in detail for all new electrical conductors and branch circuit conductors and feeders. Conductor type and conduit size/type. Note wet use requirements. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. 3. Provide a panel schedule, showing all circuits that are added, removed or modified. NEC arts;300 and 408.4. Include panel bus rating and A.I.C. rating. IBC 107.1. 4. Designate the circuit number on the electrical plans, that corresponds to the panel schedule, at the location of each existing, new or modified light fixtures, receptacles, gate operator, equipment disconnect switch, etc., NEC arts;300 and 408.4. IBC 107.1. Each electrical outlet should be labeled by panel and circuit number. Additional comments may be forthcoming with complete electrical plans for the proposed site and electrical work. |

This site is located in the OCR-2 zone (UDC 4.7.27). 1. Comment: Plans call out a new folding window system and a solid surface countertop. Please clarify if there is outdoor seating proposed with this renovation. Also, please clarify what types of food/beverages will be served through this window and associated countertop. A Development Package may be required depending on responses to zoning comments. 2. Comment: As this site is located within the COT Rio Nuevo Area (RNA), RNA review must be completed and approved prior to zoning approval of this building permit.
