TC-COM-0226-00225 PROJECT: Commercial Pool ADDRESS/PARCEL: 240 S Wilmot Rd Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2024 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2024 International Residential Code and 2024 International Energy Conservation Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. If you have any questions about these comments, I can be reached at Matthew.Carlton@tucsonaz.gov COMMENTS: 1. Is this just a resurface job? Are you cutting into the shell of the pool? 2. Is the equipment being changed out? The scope of work is lacking a lot of information. 3. Where is the equipment room? 4. Your construction documents state: “Preliminary Not for Construction” – which is unacceptable. 5. Have you verified you don’t need an aquatics facility permit from Pima County on this project? If one is necessary, have you applied for it? Please note you will need at minimum 10’ from water’s edge to the drop for the overhead electrical coming into the house from the alley. Please upload your revised plans to TDC-Online with a revision letter outlining what has been revised on the doc set. Resubmittals will not be accepted without the revision letter that answers all of the above comments. |

A floodplain use permit (FPU) will be required. Please start a new FPU under the sub-records tab of this permit on the Tucson Development Center Portal.
