(Note: this may be appealed to Pima County RWRD.) Reference: Section 1003.3 (A), IPC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson.
2. Hand sinks (52) in the kitchen are allowed to connect to the sanitary waste system instead of the grease waste system only if each sink has a sign posted above it stating, “HANDWASH SINK ONLY! NO FOOD PREPARATION OR DISHWASHING ALLOWED.” Reference: Section 1003.3, IPC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson.
3. State the minimum gas pressure required for each appliance by the appliance manufacturer. Reference: Section 402.1, IFGC 2024.
4. Provide natural gas pipe sizing calculations. Include gas pressures and developed pipe lengths (from the meter or regulator to the appliance) on plans. Reference: Section 402.3, IFGC 2024.

1. Reference Sheet E2.1, Keyed Notes #5. Festoon lighting is required to meet the requirements of the outdoor lighting code. These string lighting fixtures are typically unshielded and must be included in a site lumen calculation.
a. Option one: remove note and electrical for festoon lighting.
b. Option two: provide Outdoor Lumen Calculations per OLC 102.4, & 104.2, and include the lights as unshielded fixtures.
c. Option three: correct note to indicate that the installation of these festoon lighting fixtures will be done by separate permit in the future. They cannot be installed without permits and calculations.
2. Note on the plans that lighting fixture LI-3 is full cutoff and under a canopy or overhang to qualify for exemption OLC 104.2.1, and 401.2.1(3).
