1. If the registrant is not a registered electrical engineer, the registrant must be qualified to perform such work per A.A.C. R4-30-302 and the electrical work must be incidental to the work of the registrant’s profession for the project per A.R.S. 32-143. (Incidental is defined as minor electrical work that is a result of the work of the registrant’s profession for the project).
a. The provided scope of work does not meet the definition of ‘incidental’. The electrical sheets must be sealed by an Arizona Registered Electrical Engineer.
2. Provide electrical notes/sheets showing compliance with 2017 NEC Article 517 for health care facilities. Note areas subject to section 517.10(A).
a. This shall include, but not be limited to, any required ‘Essential Electrical Systems’, 517.25, Equipment Grounding, 517.13, ‘Category’ definition of each space, 517.18-19, etc.
