IBC 107.2.1 2. Please update the Narrative to provide a detailed description of the work involved in this permit’s scope. IBC 105.3 For example, there is no mention of the interior work taking place with this permit 3. Please amend the Occupancy group to B from A-2 as IBC 303.1.1 states a building or tenant space used for assembly purposes with an occupant load of less than 50 persons shall be classified as a Group B occupancy. 4. Please update the square footage for as it appears to be closer to 500SF This occupancy utilizes Net floor area which is; The actual occupied area not including unoccupied accessory areas such as corridors, stairways, ramps, toilet rooms, mechanical rooms and closets. IBC 1004.5 5. Please provide a toilet facility for the public with access that doesn’t require passage through kitchens, storage rooms or closets. Access to the required toilet facilities shall be from within the building or from the exterior of the building. The public shall have access to the required toilet facilities at all times that the building is occupied. IBC 2902.3.1 6. Currently the path of exit discharge is not indicated on the plans. Please amend the plans to show the path of exit discharge to a public way or a safe dispersal area. IBC 107.2.3, 1028.5 If gates are a part of the path of exit discharge, they will have only egress equivalent hardware. IBC 1010.2 Additionally, A photometric plan or other method of showing 1 footcandle of normal power illumination at the walking surface along the path(s) of exit discharge, while the building is occupied.
