04/30/2025 Commercial Mechanical Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT ODOR MITIGATION REQUESTED BY ZONING
The manufacturer’s literature for the RGF QRP-9 Guardian Photohydroionization cell unit addresses its use in HVAC systems but not exhaust ducts from Type II hoods. Provide installation instructions from the manufacturer for this application along with supporting data attesting to the effectiveness of the unit to mitigate odors in this application. Show how the exhaust for existing hood is being addressed. [Initial comment: The current mechanical design does not provide any form of the required odor mitigation.
