Submit your revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Building Review Section comments were addressed. The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review.
COMMENTS:
1. Please complete the Code Analysis to include the occupant load for every room that are shown on the floor plan, and enumerate everyone one of them in your code analysis with a total at the bottom.
2. Provide a Means of Egress plan illustrating the distances at each entry and the number of occupants exiting at each point.
3. Label everything that is new on the floor plan.
4. Complete the floor plan showing all the chairs and benches along with their labels as well as showing the equipment used as games in the arcade room. Any new electrical power such as receptacles needed for each game, submit the electrical drawings for this.
5. Submit the Reflected Ceiling Plan that shows the required lighting for the dining configuration. Any new electrical need...submit electrical drawings for this.
6. Show your calculation on the minimum plumbing fixtures requied for this restaurant and indicate what is actually provided.
7. Show your calculation on the handicap accessible required for this restaurant related to item #8 and #9 below.
8. Locate the accessible chairs and tables corresponding to item #7 above.
9. Locate the accessible counter at the bar complying to item #7 above.
10. Provide drawings of the bar counter to include the required accessible height and width and its location at the bar counter for both customers and employees.
11. Provide drawings for the point of sale counter at the reception area illustrating the required handicap accessible height and width for both customers and employees.
12. Locate and label the service sink on the floor plan.
13. Locate and label the grease trap interceptor on the floor plan.
14. Fire Sprinkler, please submit to the Tucson fire department and submit the inspection approval document to be used to issue the certificate of occupancy document.
15. Ansul system, please submit to the Tucson fire department.
16. Submit a Site Plan showing all the parking required for this space as well as the handicap stalls along with their sign/post sign/striped accessible route to the front door. Locate and label the bicycle rack as well please.
17. Show the handicap accessible restroom showing the grab bars, required clear areas at water closet, clear area at the sink and the 5 ft turning radius area as well as the clear opening of the door allowing wheelchair accessibility.
18. Submit drawings for the proposed new tables.
19. Submit drawings for these new low walls.
20. Thank You for locating/labeling the lighted exit signs. Please locate the emergency light with battery backup on the floor plan as well please.
21. Please coordinate with the Health Department, an inspection document with their approval submitted to be used to issue the certificate of occupancy document.
22. NOTE: A search is just conducted and revealed that the previous building permit expired, no inspections were scheduled to be executed, hence no certificate of occupancy was issued. The previous drawing showed the dining room being located on the left side of the kitchen. This new submittal shows the new dining space consisting of two suites to the right of the kitchen (replacing the previous dining location). Please submit a complete set of drawings consisting of Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Kitchen along with all equipment including grease trap, gas meter, water meter and fixture counts, sewer connection, etc.
