3. S1 - STATEMENT OF SPECIAL INSPECTIONS: The structural general notes provide information on special inspections that appears incomplete. Per the 2018 International Building Code, Section 1704.2.3, along with the construction documents, the applicant shall submit a Statement of Special Inspections as a condition for permit issuance. A full list of what this statement shall include is provided in IBC Section 1704.3.1. Highlights include:

i. Statement shall identify the materials and work required to have special inspections or tests,

ii. The type and extent of each inspection, and

iii. Identification as to whether each inspection shall be performed continuously or periodically, as defined by the IBC.

Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed.

This site is located in the I-1 zone (UDC 4.7.21).
1. Identify the Use for the property per the City of Tucson UDC Article 4.8.7. Provide a note on the Cover Sheet stating the use of the property.

2. The Site Plan provided shows proposed site additions that require a development package.
Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c A site plan (Development Package) is required for the following types of development: Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building.

A development package (DP) meeting the requirements of the Checklist for Minor Changes to Commercial/Industrial Sites is required to be submitted and approved. The DP is a separate submittal from the building plans. 3. A permit associated with previously approved Development Package, related to a new antenna installation was never finalized. There are still outstanding inspections. Permit T19CM07099 will need to be finalized before further permits will be issued for the property.
