2. S0.1 - WIND DESIGN CRITERIA: Per the 2018 International Building Code, Section 1603.1.4, construction documents are required to include, in addition to basic design wind speed and exposure category, design wind pressures to be used for exterior component and cladding materials, expressed in psf. Please update the general notes to include this information.

3. S1.1.1 - CONFLICTING PLANS: The structural Foundation Plan differs from the Architectural Floor Plan A0.2.1.3 at Building Type 1 in regards to the location of the Tele/Data Room and Fire Riser Room. Please confirm the final location of these rooms and resubmit sheets resolving this conflict.

4. S1.1.1 - MISSING DETAIL: Foundation Keynote 1 calls for a 1'-0" wide by 12" deep thickened slab element at all interior shear walls "per applicable detail". Details 12/S0.04 and 106/S3.1 appear to be the only details cut at an interior wall, but neither shows a continuous wall footing. Detail notes say only to thicken slab as required to provide adequate concrete cover at sill plate anchor bolts, spaced between 14" and 72" oc. Please confirm if a continuous wall footing is required and provide an accurate detail.

5. S2.1.1 & S2.2.1 - MISSING INFORMATION: Building Types 1 & 2 - 2nd Floor Layout and Shearwall Plans do not show any floor-to-floor strapping at shearwalls, typical all locations. Please confirm that straps are required at the foundation and roof only, or provide callouts for straps on the 2nd Floor framing plan.

6. S2.4.6 & S2.4.7 - CONFIRM DESIGN: In the Enlarged Stair Roofing Plans for Buildings 1 & 2, posts are called out to support the glulam beams on Grids 1.A, 1.C.5, 2.A and 2.C.5 respectively. Please provide a post size to support the glulams on Grids 1.C and 2.C or confirm that no posts are required.

7. S3.1 - GRADE BEAM DEPTH: Details 101 & 106 on Sheet S3.1 provide conflicting information on the minimum depth of a typical thickened concrete slab edge. Detail 106 calls for a minimum 9" depth which, when combined with the minimum 6" slab edge reveal called out in Detail 101, does not allow for the minimum 5" of soil embedment required by the geotechnical report. Please revise the details to ensure that the minimum soil embedment required by the geotechnical engineer is achieved.

8. S5.1 - CONFIRM DESIGN: Please confirm the design of the cantilevered parapets shown in Details 302 & 303.
i. Detail 302 calls for 8'-0" cantilevered 2x6 studs at a maximum spacing of 2'-0" oc (to match roof truss spacing) with no kicker support. This may exceed the capacity of the vertical members. If kickers are not desired, please provide calculations to support a maximum parapet height of 8'-0" with cantilevered 2x6's at 2'-0" oc.

ii. Detail 303 calls for balloon framing of the wall below to form an 8'-0" parapet. These parapet studs are spaced at 12" oc per Detail 303, while the enlarged framing plans call for Exterior Walls to be BW-2, with a typical spacing of 16" oc. If walls below the roof level are required to be framed with 2x6 @ 12" oc, please indicate the
affected areas on plan.

9. S5.2 - MISSING FASTENER INFORMATION: In Detail 314, please provide information on how the proposed 4x blocking supporting mechanical loads is being fastened to the deck below. Please confirm that this fastening is capable of withstanding components and cladding wind loads and seismic loads as required.
