Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. 2018 IBC - 107.2.1. Revise the scale on A1.0 to the correct scale. It appears as though 3/32 = 1' was used; however, the plans indicate 1/4" = 1' was used. 2. 2018 IBC - 2406.4.2. Revise to plans to show the new window in the new break/multi-use space is min. 24" from the edge of the adjacent entrance door; or, indicate that safety glazing will be provided. 3. 1009 ANSI A117.1 - 404.2.3.2, 2018 IBC - 1103.2.2. Revise the new work staff work room to provide sufficient maneuvering clearance at the door. An accessible route is required in and out of the work space. When exiting the work space, the latch approach pull-side approach requires a min. 48" measured perpendicular from the wall. The plans indicate approximately 3'-4". 4. 1009 ANSI A117.1 - 304.3, 2018 IBC - 1103.2. Revise the plans to show the exterior patio is provided with an accessible route. Provide sufficient information that includes turning radius, hard surface, door hardware, door threshold requirements, changes in elevation form the interior to the exterior, etc. 5. 2018 IBC - 1101.1. Clarification and/or details needed. The newly created "test kitchen" does not meet accessibility requirements (front approach sink, counter height, clear floor space at upright fridge/freezer, etc.). Provide how an exception has been met where this room and the features in it do not have to comply; or, revise the plans to show compliance with all ANSI A117.1 - 2009 requirements.
