The proposed gate/fence is located adjacent to an arterial road. This designation will require design plans to show vehicular maneuverability to demonstrate how a vehicle does not back up into Alvernon ROW when the gate is closed. City of Tucson 5.11 Access Management Guidelines 2. Additionally, the proposed development for this commercial property requires the submission of a Development Package. Per UDC Article 3.3.3.G.2.c, a site plan (Development Package) is required for the following types of development: Existing development undergoing a change of use, building structure additions, and/or a reconfiguration of an area outside a building. A Development Package (DP) meeting the requirements of the Checklist for Minor Changes to Commercial/Industrial Sites is required to be submitted and approved. The DP is a separate submittal from the building plans. Travelers Accommodation – Lodging is permitted use (UDC Table 4.8-4). Comments: Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. Comment: The proposed gate and associated fence will require a Development Package which is a separate permit.
