The plans still indicate that indirect waste from the grease trap is being routed to the floor sink with an air gap (Note 3, Sheet P201). Per Section 1003.3.8, discharge piping from a grease interceptor shall be directly connected to the sanitary drainage system. Please revise the plans accordingly. Reference: Section 1003.3.8, IPC 2024. 2. Also, a separate submittal to PC Industrial Wastewater Control is required for new interceptors. a. Contact Kelsey.McMonagle@pima.gov or Adam.DeLaTorre@pima.gov for review and assessment of the proposed grease interceptor b. Please submit the email from IWC indicating the approval of your interceptor to satisfy this condition. 3. Please clarify where the existing 1500-gallon interceptor is shown on the plans. |
