CASHIER: Please provide drawing illustrating the following. a. The tops of work surfaces shall be 28 inches min & 34 inches max above the floor per ICC A117.1 sec 902.4. b. Sec 306.3.3 Knee clearance shall be 11 inches min in depth at 9 inches above the floor, and 8 inches min in depth at 27 inches above the floor. c. Sec 306.2.4 Additional toe clearance space extending greater than 6 inches beyond the available knee clearance at 9 inches above the floor. d. Sec 306.3 Knee clearance shall be 30 inches min in width. e. 904.3.2 Parallel approach, the counter surface 36 inches min length. f. 904.3.3 Forward approach, the counter surface 30 inches min length. 1. WATER CLOSET a. No other fixtures or obstructions shall be within the required water closet clearance. ICC A117.1 section 604.3.3 b. Clearance around a water closet shall be 60 inches minimum in width, measured perpendicular from the sidewall. ICC A117.1 section 604.3.1 c. Clearance around the water closet shall be 56 inches minimum in depth, measured perpendicular from the rear wall. ICC A117.1 section 604.3.2 Please submit. d. Please relocate the lavatory. 2. CODE VIOLATION CE-VIO1024-04017 a. Please include work required to comply to violations below. b. If permit has been applied for, please provide the building permit number. a. This parcel has many addresses, the business that had their power surrendered was 3202 N. 1st Ave. There have been many electrical hazards that has been identified at this commercial property. Two mini splits installed without permits. Unapproved wiring at the roof top energizing multiple business signs and other unknown electrical components. Portable laminar work lights permanently hard wired in non-code complaint manner. Extension cords being used in lieu of permanent wiring for unapproved interior illumination devices. Exterior outdoor lighting fixtures installed without permits. Business operating a used car sale lot and car rental business along with the retail smoke shop without an approved certificate of occupancy. Code Enforcement is requesting that all violations are abated with applicable permits and required inspections. 3. SIGN - Submit a separate permit for the sign. Please provide the sign permit number if already applied. 4, Please resubmit. |
