Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC), 2012 Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC). General: 1. A signature and date are required as part of the Registrant Seal (Electrical). Section R4-30-304 of the Rules of the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, states that in addition to signing the seal, the registrant shall include the date the document was sealed. Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC). 1. Additions or modifications to outdoor lighting less than 25% of total lighting shall require a complete inventory and site plan detailing all existing and any proposed new lighting, OLC 102.4. One additional outdoor is being added, lighting fixture “B”. 2. New or modified lighting shall meet the requirements of this code regarding shielding, and lamp type, OLC 102.4 3. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1. Lighting fixture “B” shows a color temperature of 4,000K. 4. Submit catalogue or specification sheets of the proposed light fixture illustrating the type of fixture they are, and whether full cut-off or unshielded. Provide tempered water for the lavatories and public hand-washing sinks in restrooms using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 419.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2018. 5. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatory complies with the requirements of Section C404.5, IECC 2018 (e.g., 24” for ½” pipe). |
