This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Show grounding details for the mounting equipment and metal support frame, NEC690.43. Show the Grounding Conductor’s connection at the modules, mounting and metal support structure. These sheets need to be Sealed by the Electrical Engineer. 2. Wire ID 14 and 15, appear undersized for the given current. The AC wire calculation on sheet E-602 shows the conductor ampacity as less than the required circuit ampacity. Provide electrical load calculations showing the expected load is compatible with the given conductor sizes, Per NEC 220.40. 3. Submit your revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Building Review Section comments were addressed. The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. 1. Please submit the drawings and structural calculations for the carport structure that the PV system is sitting on. Should the structure is of steel, an Licensed Arizona Structural Engineer must design generate the structure drawings as well as provide structural calculations along with his seal/signature/date on both drawings and calculations. 2. Please resubmit. |

This comment has not been addressed. Per UDC 3.3.3.G.2.c, a site plan (development package) is required for building or structure additions such as proposed. A development package that meets the Checklist for Minor Development Changes to Existing Commercial/Industrial Sites is required: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/1/pdsd/documents/permits/minor_changes_to_commercial_industrial_sites_.pdf. The development package is a separate submittal and shall be applied for through the Tucson Development Center Online under application type “Development Package.” Zoning cannot approve TC-COM-0124-00204 until the submitted development package has been approved by all reviewers.
