02/06/2024 Commercial Mechanical REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Footnote b on Table 403.3.1.1, IMC 2018 states that mechanical exhaust is required for the beauty salon and no air from the beauty salon may be recirculated to any other space. HP-1 appears to be recirculating air from the beauty salon to the public restroom, break room, and to the reception room. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (3), IMC 2018.
2. Clarify the exhaust airflow rate. The Exhaust Fan Schedule calls for 500 CFM of exhaust but the mechanical floor plan calls out only 400 CFM of exhaust. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
