Please provide accessible route from an accessible building entrance to primary function areas. IEBC 305.4.3 Further, provide dimension of the opening from the Lobby to the Patient area. Keep in mind 2009 ICC A117.1 403.5 would require a clear width of 36” with an exception to reduce the clear width to 32” Please amend plans to show the Exit Sign locations on the plan where required. Exits and exit access doors shall be marked by an approved exit sign readily visible from any direction of egress travel. The path of egress travel to exits and within exits shall be marked by readily visible exit signs to clearly indicate the direction of egress travel in cases where the exit or the path of egress travel is not immediately visible to the occupants. Intervening means of egress doors within exits shall be marked by exit signs. Exit sign placement shall be such that any point in an exit access corridor or exit passageway is within 100 feet or the listed viewing distance of the sign, whichever is less, from the nearest visible exit sign. IBC 1013.1 Please indicate how the Exit Signs are to be illuminated. IBC 1013.3 Please amend plans to show the location and method of emergency means of egress illumination for entire path of egress travel.
