GENERAL - DEFERRED SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: The engineer of record has stated that design of the prefabricated wood trusses and prefabricated sun shades/canopies shall be accomplished via Deferred Submittal. Please note that IBC Section 107.3.4.1 requires deferred submittals to be approved by the building official. The IBC further requires the following procedure be followed when permitting deferred submittals:

1. All submittals shall first be reviewed by design professional in responsible charge.

2. Design professional shall affix a notation that the deferred items are in general conformance with their design of the building.

3. They shall then be submitted for review by the building official.

4. No structural elements shall be installed until approved by building official.

1.COMMENT: Zoning has reviewed the building plan for compliance with the unapproved TD-DEV-1223-00492, Zoning cannot approve the building plans until the DP is approved.

COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal as it relates to the zoning review purview and compare the building plan footprint, building height, and square footage and location to ensure consistency with the DP. The building plans must match what is on the approved Development Package to be approved.
